(DESOTO) DeSoto Dragon softball outfielder and pitcher Krystin Keath will be taking her talents to Missouri Baptist University next year.

Keith’s summer ball play the last four years helped set up this opportunity to become a Spartan.

Keath signed her letter of intent last Thursday at DeSoto High School surrounded by family and coaches.

Keath’s head coach, Chris Woelich, was also there at her signing and also has been a great influence for her.

So far in Keath’s senior season with the DeSoto Dragons, she has a .295 batting average, 9 RBI’s, 3 stolen bases and a 4.94 earned run average. Keath will be studying elementary and special needs education at Missouri Baptist. Keath will also be reunited with DeSoto High School graduates and former teammates, Madalyn Bone and Sydney Berry.
