DeSoto man injured in a one-vehicle accident

(DeSoto) A DeSoto man was injured in a car crash on Mount Olive Road south of McMullen School Road on Wednesday afternoon. According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, 41-year old Justin Johnson was driving a 1986 Ford Mustang northbound, lost control of his vehicle, and ran off the left side of the road striking a utility pole. Johnson was taken by ambulance to Mercy Hospital South with moderate injuries. The accident took place just after noon on Wednesday.
