DeSoto Man Injured in One-Car Crash

(Jefferson County) A DeSoto man was moderatley injured in a one-car accident this afternoon in Jefferson County. The Highway Patrol says the accident occurred on Mount Olive Road, just South of McMullen School Road. Justin Johnston was traveling Northbound in his 1986 Ford Mustang when he lost control of his vehicle and ran off the left side of the road and struck a telephone pole. Valley Ambulance transported Johnston to Mercy Hospital South. His vehicle was totaled in the accident.
