DeSoto plans on 4th of July fireworks

(DeSoto) The DeSoto community plans on going forward with their fireworks show on the 4th of July. The DeSoto Lions Club will once again put on the display and are asking for donations to cover the costs. DeSoto City Manager Todd Melkus says they felt it could be pulled off since it’s not a festival type setting.

The fireworks will be set off from DeSoto High School on the 4th of July. However, whether or not the annual 4th of July Parade will take place has not been decided as of now.
