(DESOTO) The DeSoto softball Dragons will be grinding their way through the 2019 regular season with the hope of reaching a district championship again.
2nd-year head coach Chris Woelich had the team do a book-study this summer to prepare them for that chance to get back. The book the team read is titled, “The Hard Hat: 21 Ways to Be a Great Teammate.”

As for the players themselves, Coach Woelich likes his senior group which is led by his number-one pitcher Krystin Keath.

DeSoto softball reached the Class 3 District 2 championship game last year, falling to Hillsboro 6-0. Coach Woelich and the Dragons are looking forward to a rematch on September 24th.
