DeSoto teenager arrested after traffic crash

A DeSoto teenager was injured in a single-car accident on Monday night. According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, 18-year old Andrew Belleville was driving a 2007 Dodge Charger west on Flucom Road east of Tiffany Lane, traveled off the right side of the road, struck a fence and a utility pole. He was taken by ambulance to Mercy Hospital South with moderate injuries. He was later charged with Driving While Intoxicated. The accident took place at 10:45 Monday night.
