DeSoto woman assaulted at the Twin City Wal-Mart

(Festus) Festus Police were called to the scene of an assault in progress at the Twin City Wal-Mart Monday night. Police Chief Tim Lewis says the call came in around 7 o’clock.
The victim, a female from DeSoto, was taken into custody and arrested for possession of narcotics. Her name has not been released at this time. Law enforcement officials are still looking for the male suspect involved in the incident.
