Desoto Woman Injured in Car Crash in Jefferson County

(Desoto) A woman from Desoto was injured Thursday night in a one vehicle accident in Jefferson County.

The Highway Patrol says the crash took place on Fountain City Road, west of Upper Plattin Road when a Hyundai Azera driven by 57-year-old Ann Fox ran off the road, struck a fence and then overturned.

Fox received moderate injuries and was taken to Mercy Hospital South in St. Louis.
