DeSoto’s Clayton Snudden Earns First Dream Team Selection in Senior Season
(DESOTO) DeSoto football’s Clayton Snudden caught 55 passes for 929 yards and 7 touchdowns in his senior season, earning him a spot on the Fall 2018 Regional Radio Dream Team.
Clayton was pretty excited to find out he finally achieved Dream Team status, something he’s been striving for.
Snudden and the Dragons were able to end an 11-game drought against Hillsboro by beating them in October, 14-8. On the day it happened, it was written all over Clayton’s face just what it meant for him and the team to beat the Hawks. Snudden says that even today that moment gives him great joy.
Clayton’s career numbers include 1,500 receiving yards and 13 TD’s while defensively finishing with 96 total tackles, 4 interceptions and 2 fumbles recovered. For 2017 and 2018, Clayton was voted 1st Team Unanimous JCAA All-Conference Wide Receiver and in 2018 was also voted 1st Team Unanimous JCAA All-Conference Defensive Back.
Clayton would like to continue playing football in college but isn’t quite sure yet where he’ll end up. He is currently looking at SEMO, College of the Ozarks, and Truman State. To hear the rest of our Dream Team interview with Clayton Snudden, you can go here.
