(DESOTO) DeSoto sophomore wrestler Jaycee Foeller became the first-ever female state champion of the 167-pound weight class, going a perfect 35-0 and earning her way onto the Regional Radio Winter Dream Team.

For her grand achievements this past season, Foeller got to go to the capitol building in Jefferson City to receive a Resolution Award from State Representatives Mike McGirl and Elaine Gannon.

 
Ever the perfectionist, Jaycee aspires to keep winning state championships and will certainly do everything she can to make it happen.

 
Other accomplishments for Jaycee include 1st place in Fargo Cadet in the 180-pound weight division and 2nd in Juniors at Fargo. DeSoto’s Jaycee Foeller also became the first-ever female wrestler to be selected to the Regional Radio Winter Dream Team.
