DeSoto’s Kaitlyn McGinnitey is Parkland Health Mart Pharmacy Athlete of the Week

(DESOTO) DeSoto’s Kaitlyn McGinnitey is the Parkland Health Mart Pharmacy Play It Forward Athlete of the Week.

McGinnitey set season-best times in the 100 and 300-meter hurdles during the Class 4 District 1 track meet this past weekend, taking 1st place in both events. She also anchored the 4-by-400 meter relay team to a 1st place finish and anchored the 4-by-200 meter relay team to a 2nd place finish.

Head coach Terry Frank has nothing but praise for McGinnitey and her ability to handle adversity.

 
Kaitlyn will compete in those four events in the Class 4 Sectionals on Saturday in West Plains. As the Athlete of the Week, McGinnitey will receive a certificate and a t-shirt and Parkland Health Mart Pharmacy will donate $25 to a charity of McGinnitey’s choice.
