Despite Coronavirus Warnings…Park Hills Man & Family Vote to Take Scheduled Ocean Cruise Vacation

(Park Hills) A Park Hills man and his family are ‘going against the grain’ when it comes to warnings about what to do when it comes to the coronavirus.

Mark McFarland is the city administrator in Park Hills.

He says he and his family will be heading out this weekend for vacation.

McFarland believes he and his family will be safe if they follow the rules provided by the Centers for Disease and Control.

Several cruise lines have began cancelling their upcoming cruises but as of today, McFarland says his ship is still supposed to sail off on Sunday.

As this week began, the U.S. State Department issued an advisory, saying American citizens, particularly those with underlying health conditions, should not travel by cruise ship during this coronavirus pandemic.
