(Herculaneum) The Board of Directors of Developmental Disability Advocates (DDA) is holding a community conversation about a possible tax levy increase for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities living in Jefferson County.

The meeting will be held on Thursday, January 30th from 5:30 until 7 at the agencies Herculaneum office. The DDA’s current tax levy has not been increased since 1988 and according to a press release from the DDA, the present budget is not adequate to meet their current or projected future needs.

People who would like to attend the meeting is asked to reserve a spot by calling Dawn Warner at 636-282-5500 no later Monday, Janaury 27th. Again, the DDA will hold a community conversation on Thursday, January 30th.
