There will be a hearing this week for the Missouri Legislature concerning House Bill 1292.
The bill aims to allow landowners to hunt feral hogs with technology such as night vision and thermal imaging.
Representative Chris Dinkins is the sponsor of the bill.
Dinkins says trapping is effective but can’t be the only method.
Dinkins is from Annapolis and represents District 144, which has parts of Washington, Reynolds, Wayne, and Iron Counties.
