Dirty Dozen Mud Run coming back in Festus

(Festus) The Dirty Dozen Mud Run at Crites Memorial Park is returning this spring. The “tough mudder” event will take place on Saturday, May 1st. Barb Lowry is the Director of Recreation and Tourism for the City of Festus. She says they made a few minor changes from the previous events, including safety.

Lowry says there has been a large number that has signed up already, and for those interested….here are a few ways to get registered.

The Dirty Dozen Mud Run will take place on Saturday, May 1st at Crites Memorial Park (formerly West City Park) in Festus. The first heat will take place at 8:20 that morning and continues with heats until noon. Every participant will receive a t-shirt, and those ages 8 to 17 can compete, but must have a participating adult with them or in their group.
