Discount Tire in Festus a good fit for the location

(Festus) Plans have all but been finalized for a Discount Tire location coming to Festus. The business will be coming to Gannon Drive where the old Tanglefoot Steakhouse location is next to the Quality Inn. Festus City Administrator Greg Camp says this location should work well with the large amount of traffic that is always there.

Camp says the lack of good parking at the location works for what Discount Tire does.

The Festus City Council approved to rezone the property from B-2 to B-4 which allows the use of automotive services. The plans are to first demolish the existing Tanglefoot building, and completely rebuild the new Discount Tire facility, and open sometime during the late spring or early summer of 2023.
