District Softball Gets Underway This Week

The postseason is quickly approaching for Spring Softball and our area teams will do battle to call themselves District Champions. In Class 2 District 3, Potosi is the top-seeded team and will host Kingston on Friday. West County is the 2-seed and hosts Bourbon Saturday. Central is the 3-seed and will play Grandview Friday, while Ste. Genevieve and Steelville will face off in the 4-5 seed matchup Friday. Clearwater and Arcadia Valley are the only listening area schools in Class 2 District 2. Clearwater is the 1-seed and will face Puxico and AV is the 5-seed and plays Dexter.

In Class 1, Valle Catholic and Ellington are the top two seeds in District 3. Both teams will get a bye. The 4-seed is Bismarck and will face Winona next week. 3-seed Meadow Heights will face 6-seed St. Paul.
