Dittmer man injured in motorcycle accident

A Dittmer man was injured in a motorcycle accident on westbound Highway EE in Jefferson County yesterday (Monday) afternoon. According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, 49-year-old William Crosby was driving a 2013 Harley Davidson and struck a deer, overturned, and traveled off the left side of the roadway. Crosby was not wearing a helmet and was taken by ambulance to Mercy Hospital South with serious injuries. The accident took place at 3:20 Monday afternoon.
