Dittmer man injured on Highway 30

A Dittmer man was injured in a single-vehicle accident Monday morning. According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, 36-year old Jacob Johnson was driving a 2004 Jeep Cherokee east on Highway 30 at Route BB, suffered a medical condition, traveled off the roadway, and struck a light standard. Johnson was not wearing a seatbelt and was taken by ambulance to Mercy Hospital South with serious injuries. The accident took place at 8:30 Monday morning.
