Dittmer woman injured in single-vehicle accident

A Dittmer woman was injured in a traffic accident on westbound Township Lane west of Joyce Lane in Dittmer on Wednesday afternoon. According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, 30-year old Amie Addison was driving a Toyota Tacoma and failed to negotiate a right turn in the roadway and traveled off the left side of the roadway, struck an embankment, and overturned. She was not wearing her seatbelt and was taken by ambulance to Mercy Hospital South with serious injuries. The accident took place a little after 3 o’clock Wednesday afternoon.
