Doe Run Man Injured in Crash in St. Francois County

(Doe Run) A man from Doe Run was injured Wednesday afternoon in a one vehicle accident in St. Francois County.

The Highway Patrol says the accident took place on Highway 221 near Henson Road when a Ford Explorer driven by 24-year-old William Steele of Doe Run ran off the road, struck an embankment and overturned.

Steele received moderate injuries and was taken to Parkland Medical Center in Farmington for treatment.
