Donation made to Mapaville Fire Protection District

(Mapaville) A donation was recently made to the Mapaville Fire Protection District to purchase equipment to handle ice water recuses more efficiently. Mapaville fire Chief Dave Brown.

Chief Brown mentions firefighters have been training with the new equipment and there is an upcoming ice water rescue training coming up on Saturday.

In addition fire crews will be training on low angle rope rescues, something Chief Brown says Mapaville has never been able to do with the lack of equipment.

Chief Brown notes it’s nice being able to upgrade the departments services and what they can do for the public.
