Donze Follows Brother’s Footsteps, Makes Baseball Dream Team

(STE. GENEVIEVE, Mo.) – It was a memorable season for Chad Donze of the Ste. Genevieve Dragons, which included a district championship and his selection to the Regional Radio Baseball Dream Team. Donze pitched to a 7-1 record and a 1.55 ERA during his senior season. He said he’s happy to join his brother Jake, who also made the Dream Team when he was in high school.
Donze said he’s satisfied with the improvements he made on the mound this year.
Ste. Genevieve set a program record with 22 wins and just the third district title in program history. Donze said the team’s success will be what he remembers most from 2019.
Donze will continue to play baseball in college next year at Three Rivers Community College.
