Double fatal accident in Arnold

(Arnold) Two people were killed in a single-vehicle accident on Jeffco Boulevard north of Riverbluff Drive in Arnold early this (Wednesday) morning. According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, 34-year old Joseph Resinger of St. Louis or House Springs was driving a 1998 Buick Regal north on Jeffco, traveled off the east side of the roadway striking a utility pole, ejecting the passenger, 19-year old Alexis Summers of Imperial. Resinger was pronounced deceased at the scene by Rock Community Fire Protection personnel. Summers was taken by ambulance to Mercy Hospital South and passed away a few hours later. The accident, which shut down the roadway for several hours, took place just before 3 o’clock in the morning.
