Dr. Kirchhofer leaving Northwest School District in good hands

(Cedar Hill) Dr. Desi Kirchhofer is down to his last two months as Superintendent in the Northwest School District. He announced his plans for retirement earlier in the school year and since then the board of education has hired Dr. Jennifer Hecktor to fill his role come July 1st.
Dr. Kirchhofer says Dr. Hecktor is a perfect fit for continued academic success at Northwest.
Dr. Kirchhofer will retire on June 30th with 30 years in education under his belt. He has been superintendent of the Northwest School District since July 1st of 2017.
