Drenin Dinkins Commits to Southwest Baptist

(Annapolis) Class of 2022 Point Guard Drenin Dinkins from the defending boy’s basketball Class 1 State Champion South Iron Panthers announced his commitment to Southwest Baptist University in Bolivar. Dinkins says it is a dream come true to become a college athlete.

Dinkins tells us why he committed to Southwest Baptist.

Dinkins still has another season left for the Panthers and hopes to bring another state title back to Annapolis.

Dinkins and the Panthers defeated Mound City 69-50 from Missouri State University in March. The win marked the Panther’s first state title since 1965 and their second in school history and finish the season with a 25-4 record.
