Drought Forces Reynolds County Commission to Ban Open Burning & Use of Fireworks

(Centerville) For the safety of it’s residents and property, the Reynolds County Commission has approved a temporary ordinance this week because of the drought conditions the county is currently experiencing.

All open burning and the use of fireworks are now not allowed in Reynolds County.

This temporary ordinance will be in effect until September 6th or when the county commission deems the dry conditions have improved in the county.

If conditions do not improve by the 6th of September, the commission could extend the burn ban and fireworks ban for Reynolds County.
