Drought has Nearly Left the Regional Radio Listening Area

(Farmington) Farmers and ranchers in southeast Missouri and even backyard gardeners may be pleased to know drought conditions are nearly gone.

The latest drought monitor map of Missouri shows the very southern tip of Reynolds and the southern third of Shannon County are still experiencing moderate drought conditions.

A few areas still have abnormally dry conditions at the moment.

All of Dent and Wayne counties, along with most of Bollinger County, all of western Reynolds and a chunk of western Crawford County are all at the abnormally dry level.

At the moment, all other parts of the listening area are right at normal conditions.
