Dru Koetting Nets Her Way Onto The Volleyball Dream Team

(Ste. Genevieve) Dru Koetting of the Ste. Genevieve Dragons was voted onto the Regional Radio Dream Team for Volleyball. The senior collected 531 kills, 58 aces and 265 digs en route to helping Ste. Gen finish in third place in Class 3 this season.

Koetting says she worked hard in the offseason to perform at a top level this year.

Ste. Genevieve had some memorable games leading up to their trip to Cape Girardeau. Koetting says her final home game will always stand out to her.

The Dragons are guided by head coach Carla Basler. Koetting tells us what she enjoyed about playing for Basler.

In addition to the Dream Team, Koetting was named to Class 3 all-state team and finished her career as Ste. Genevieve’s record holder for career kills with 1,038 and single season kills.
