(Herculaneum) Current Dunklin School District Deputy Superintendent Dr. Clint Freeman is ready to take over the full-time role as superintendent beginning on July 1st.

For the past year-and-a-half, Dr. Freeman has been working closely and training with Superintendent Stan Stratton, who will be retiring at the end of the month. Dr. Freeman says he’s ready to officially lead the Blackcats.

Stratton is retiring from the Missouri education system; however, he has accepted a new job in another state.

Stratton has been employed with the Dunklin School District for 19 years, serving 13 of those years as the district’s superintendent.
