(Herculaneum) The Dunklin R-5 School District has made its first of a handful of new hires to replace some upper-level staff members that will be moving on after this current school year ends. Dr. Clint Freeman will become the new Superintendent in July, moving up from the Deputy Superintendent position. Current and soon to be retiring Superintendent Stan Stratton says the Dunklin School Board has hired Dr. Freeman’s replacement.

Stratton says Mr. Willis has an extensive background in education.

The application deadline for the vacant Herculaneum High School Principal position closed this week. The Dunklin School Board is hoping to find the replacement for the retiring Dr. John Crabtree next month or in February. The hiring of a new Assistant High School Principal and Athletic Director will come soon after.
