Dunklin R-5 Board of Education approves E-Sports

(Herculaneum) The Dunklin School District will have a new opportunity for students to engage in school spirit and compete against other schools.

During its monthly meeting on Tuesday night, the Dunklin R-5 School Board of Education approved E-Sports.

Assistant Superintendent Joe Willis explains how the idea came about.

So what is E-Sports.

Once again after seeing the presentation the Dunklin R-5 School Board of Education approved E-Sports in the district.

Willis says the first season will get underway this fall.
