Dunklin R-5 Prop Safe Schools on April ballot

(Herculaneum/Pevely) Proposition Safe Schools, a no-tax rate increase bond issue will be on the April ballot for voters in the Dunklin R-5 School District.

Superintendent Dr. Clint Freeman says the $13.5 million dollars bond will be for safety and infrastructure improvements throughout the district.

The district already held its first campaign meeting with the second meeting planned on Thursday, February 23rd.

Dr. Freeman adds they will focus on other campaign methods as well.

Prop Safe Schools will be on the April Municipal Election ballot for voters in the Dunklin School District.

The election is coming up on Tuesday, April 4th.
