(Herculaneum) It’s back to school time as many regional school districts plan for the first day of class next week. One of those is the Dunklin School District. Superintendent Dr. Clint Freeman says teachers and other staff returned on Wednesday.

We asked Dr. Freeman what will be some of the mitigation strategies that will be in place this upcoming school year.

Through a partnership with “Launch” the Dunklin School District will continue to offer an all virtual option for those students and parents that choose that route.

According to Dr. Freeman only 14 of nearly 1700 students district wide have chosen to learn virtually this year.

The first day of class in the Dunklin School District is next Wednesday.
