(Herculaneum) The Dunklin School District has been recognized for its efforts in quality improvement with a Tier 2 award from the Midwest Excellence Institute.

According to Dunkin schools Superintendent Stan Stratton, the school district is using the Baldrige Excellence Framework to align and improve every segment of the district.

This is also the second year in a row that the Dunklin School District has received the award.

The Affton School District was also awarded the Tier 2 award.

The Tier 3 winners were Mercy Rehabilitation Hospital, Special School District of St. Louis County, and the University of Kansas Medical Center-Public Safety.
