Jefferson City) Drivers in Missouri will be able to fill up with E-15 gasoline this summer for the first time.
The Biden Administration plans to temporarily waive a rule to allow year-round ethanol sales.
Bradley Schad of the Missouri Corn Growers Association says, “most of the retailers selling E-15 in Missouri would have been affected by this and would not have been able to sell it from June First to September 15th.”
Renewable fuel groups are calling for a permanent E-P-A waiver.
Schad says around 70 retailers in Missouri sell ethanol, but some have agreements with big oil companies that don’t permit E-15 sales.
