E.P.A. Working This Year on Viburnum Superfund Site

(Viburnum) An Environmental Protection Agency Superfund site is getting cleaned up this year in Viburnum and a little bit of the surrounding area outside the city limits.

Kirk Mammoliti  is the E.P.A.’s project coordinator for this project.

He provides us details about the work.

He tells us what they are doing with the lead-contaminated material.

Regional Radio asked Mammoliti, who is doing the actual work in Viburnum.

Mammoliti says if the weather cooperates, this entire Superfund site in Viburnum should be remediated by August of this year.
