Earthquake Recorded Near De Soto

(De Soto) An earthquake of 2.2 magnitude registered on the Richter Scale Friday afternoon in Jefferson County.
According to the U.S. Geological Survey the quake was centered just southeast of the De Soto city limits next to Flucom Road near Flucom Meadows Road.
The small earthquake struck at 1:10 Friday afternoon.
Two people reported to the U.S.G.S. that they felt it.
No injuries or damage was reported.
