Earthquake Today Near Red Bud, Illinois

(Red Bud) A small earthquake was recorded by the U.S. Geological Survey in Randolph County, Illinois this morning.

The 2.3 magnitude quake was centered about 4 and a half miles southeast of the town of Red Bud and took place 6:04 a.m.

As of right now, there have been no reports of damage with very few people reporting that they felt the tremor.
