Easy-MO Transportation In Need of Drivers

(HILLSBORO) Easy-MO Transportation is the new transportation service provided by Jefferson Franklin community Action Corporation. If you qualify, the agency can schedule you with a volunteer driver to take you where you may need to go. JFCAC provides rides for doctor appointments, employment, community resources and grocery store trips. Donna Masters of JFCAC says the agency is in need of volunteer drivers for the program. Drivers are not compensated for their time but drivers do receive mileage reimbursement.
Masters says after a person takes the intake assessment to qualify to receive rides, a 48 hour notice is needed so the agency can line up a driver.
According to Masters, a ride is not guaranteed until JFCAC has a driver lined up to accept your ride request. Again, the number to call is 877-743-3966.
