Ellen Irene Head Obit – Service 01-07-20 at 10 A.M.

Ellen Irene Head of Herculaneum passed away Friday. She was 73. Ellen was a member of Beta Sigma Pi Sorority and employed by Doe Run Lead Co. for 32 years. She was also a member of First United Methodist Church of Festus/Crystal City, where she sang in the choir.

She is survived by her husband Thomas Head; daughters Melissa Cline of Kirksville, Rebecca Kelley of Festus, and Debra Lynn Goodwin of Festus; son Bruce Wayne Head of Fenton; 9 grandchildren; and 2 great-grandsons.

Funeral services for Ellen Head will be Tuesday morning at the Vinyard Funeral Home in Festus at 10 with interment in Herculaneum Cemetery.

Visitation will be Monday evening from 5 to 8 at the Funeral Home.

Memorials in Ellen Head’s memory are preferred to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society.
