Ellington Chamber of Commerce Making Arrangements for Solar Eclipse
The Ellington Chamber of Commerce is making arrangements for travelers coming to see April’s total eclipse. Christy Roberts from the Chamber says motels and campsites in town are filling up fast, but the Chamber is planning on setting up a couple spots to watch the eclipse.

Roberts says that watching the eclipse in a rural area like Ellington will enhance the viewing experience.

The Ellington Chamber of Commerce will provide safety glasses to view the eclipse the afternoon of April 8th. THe skies will begin to darken in Ellingon around 12:41 in the afternoon with totality happening for about four minutes starting right at 2 o’clock. The eclipse will officially end in the Ellington area at about 3:17.
