Emergency Management Director for Farmington will be Watching Weather Forecast Closely

(Farmington) If you are from Missouri, you know by now the weather forecast can change hour to hour.

Our first chance of measurable winter weather for this season in southeast Missouri is expected to begin Wednesday night.

Tim Porter is the Emergency Management Director for the City of Farmington.

He will closely monitor the forecast and any changes to it in the next 24 to 36 hours.

Sleet and freezing rain is currently in the forecast with winter precipitation expected to start falling before midnight Wednesday night.

The sleet and freezing rain is supposed to continue through part of the day on Thursday.
