(HERCULANEUM) The Jefferson College softball program just recently added its 14th and final high school recruit for the class of 2020-2021 and she hails from Herculaneum.

Emma Vaughn made it official a couple of weeks ago after meeting with Vikings head coach Tony Cook.

Emma introduces us to her parents and her Select softball coach.

Before even taking her first step on the Jeff Co softball field, Emma is thinking about what’s next as far as an education and career are concerned.

Emma Vaughn adds that she is grateful to all of her teammates of the past 3 years. Vaughn batted .592 in her senior softball season while finishing her 3-year run at Herky with a career 18 doubles, 8 triples, 4 home runs, and 36 RBI’s.

Jeff Co’s Tony Cook was able to recruit Emma Vaughn to the program late in the recruiting process and feels blessed to have her join.

Vaughn will likely play for the Jeff Co softball team during their fall season later this year.
