Execution Date Set for Man Who Was Just 19 When Convicted of 2 Counts of 1st Degree Murder

(Bonne Terre) The Missouri Supreme Court issued another execution order Wednesday against a death row inmate.

Michael Andrew Tisius was found guilty of two counts of first degree murder.

He received the punishment of execution on both counts.

After years of appeals delaying his sentence, he is now scheduled to be executed in the Bonne Terre prison within a 24 hour period starting at 6 p.m. on June 6th.

Tisius shot and killed two Randolph County Missouri jailers in 2000 during a botched attempt to free another inmate.

Tisius is 41-years-old.

He was only 19 when he committed the murders.
