Extension Events Coming Up In Listening Area

With spring arriving this weekend, the University of Missouri Extension Service has some events planned for the area. Rachel Hopkins is a county engagement specialist in agriculture and environment with Extension in Washington County. She says the Ste. Genevieve Spring Garden Walk is coming up on May 14th and 15th.

Hopkins says there is also an opportunity for cattlemen to take part in a grazing school.

And there’s a special cattle sale coming up.

The local Show-Me Select Heifer Sale is set for Friday night, May 13th at 7 at Farmington Regional Stockyards. The sale barn in Fruitland, between Perryville and Jackson off Highway 61, will also have a Show-Me Select Heifer Sale Friday night, May 6th at 7 o’clock.
