Farmington adding downtown ice rink for winter holidays

There will be a spot to do some skating starting this Thanksgiving.
That’s according to John Bader with the parks department.
Bader says while the rink is new this holiday season, it could become an annual tradition.
You can bring your own skates or rent them when the rink opens at its to-be-determined location.
Hours are currently set to be open from 5 until 9 in the evening on weekdays and from noon until 9 on the weekends.
