Farmington and Festus Boys Meet on the Hardwood Tonight on J98

(Farmington) A cross-conference battle gets underway in boys basketball tonight as the Farmington Knights host the Festus Tigers on J98.

Farmington has fared well in this matchup in recent years, going 4-1 against Festus dating back to 2018.

After a red-hot start to their season, the Knights have cooled off in the new year with a 3-2 record in January and losses to Ste. Genevieve and Sikeston.

However, Farmington was able to right the ship with their highest scoring output of the season in a 91-66 rout of Potosi this past Friday.

Knights’ head coach Terry Noble says he has been impressed with the Tigers’ progression this season.

Festus took a strong start to their season and built on it over the past few weeks as they have won five straight and are now 5-1 in the month of January.

Tigers’ head coach Jason Therrell says Farmington will be a challenging opponent.
