Farmington Approves Tax Rate

(Farmington) The Farmington City Council approved the new rate for the city at it’s meeting Monday night. City Administrator Greg Beavers says the new tax will be a bit higher.

The Farmington council also approved an annexation request involving the Harrington Farm across from the water park on West Liberty Street. Beavers says this is a pretty big deal.

Next up for the City of Farmington is finalizing a new budget. That needs to be approved by the end of next month.
