Farmington at Ste. Genevieve in Key Volleyball Showdown on KREI

(Ste. Genevieve) A couple of highly ranked volleyball teams meet for a key MAAA conference tilt tonight on KREI. 16-3-1 Farmington is ranked 8th in Class 4 and 14-2-2 Ste. Genevieve comes in ranked 10th in Class 3.

The two teams split last year with Farmington taking the regular season match and the Dragons winning the conference tournament match.

Haley Baker guided the Knights to a quarterfinal appearance last year. She thinks they are even better this year…

However, Baker also says Ste. Genevieve has another powerful team…

Ste. Genevieve is in the midst of a 10-game winning streak. Head coach Carla Basler says the team chemistry has played a big role in their success.

Basler knows it’ll be a challenge to beat the Knights.
